“Your beliefs become your thoughts,
Your thoughts become your words, Your words become your actions, Your actions become your habits, Your habits become your values, Your values become your destiny.” ― Mahatma Gandhi |
“It's not hard to make decisions when you know what your values are.”
― Roy Disney |
It is hard to go thru even a single day of life without making decisions and one thing is true. The better decisions you make, the better your life will be.
One way I have learned to make better decisions is to have a clear set of Values in front of me. My values. Influenced perhaps, but not dictated.
This is the heart of what I teach. Create, know and live based upon your values.

Roles
and Relationships |
I have a chart I like to use to identify your key roles, like father or daughter, friend, co-worker, teacher. These roles define us and thought should be given to what you want from these relationships and what you want to give. |
Spiritual
|
Understand what you believe. Let this guide your other values or not. But it should still be defined and understood by you.

Time
|
How much of it we have is beyond our control. What we give our time too is.
Being clear about what we will and won't make time for is an important exercise. |
Work |
For many people, their life's work is what defines them. For others it is nothing more than a way to support themselves.
In any case, if we understand our own attitudes regarding work certain decisions will become easier. |
